Who is responsible for your information?

What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, phone number, property postcode, selected service, message and your agreement to be contacted and introduced. We also receive the information you choose to send on WhatsApp or by email. Our form may include the page or campaign that led you to us, such as UTM parameters or a Google Ads click identifier. If you agree to optional storage, we can retain that source information across pages during your visit.
Why we use it
We use this information to answer your enquiry, understand the work, contact you and, where appropriate, introduce you to a suitable contractor. We rely on your consent to share enquiry details with a contractor as requested on the form. We rely on our legitimate interests to manage enquiries, prevent misuse and keep reasonable business records. We do not treat an enquiry as consent to unrelated marketing.
Who receives it
A relevant independent contractor may receive the details needed to discuss your project. They handle information under their own privacy arrangements after the introduction. FormSubmit processes form submissions and delivers them to our Porkbun-hosted email inbox. Our website host also processes technical data needed to serve the site. WhatsApp is operated by Meta. These providers may process information outside the UK under their own arrangements and applicable safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records while the enquiry is active and then for up to 12 months for follow-up and business records, unless a longer period is needed for a legal issue. You can request deletion sooner, subject to any legitimate reason we must retain a record.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction or deletion, object to certain uses, or withdraw consent to a future contractor introduction by contacting us. Withdrawing consent will not undo an introduction already made. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
